The purpose of this register

On this page, we will describe our Privacy Policy and how we are using the data we collect. When you visit our website for the first time and before you can use our website, we ask for your consent in regards to tracking. You can approve or decline cookies easily. You are also able to set cookie preferences for each purpose area.

Your personal (user) information is processed for the purpose of creating, maintaining, managing and developing Joylla’s customer relationships, marketing and communications, analysis, statistics and for the targeting, provision and development of services. Additionally, your personal information is processed in order to comply with legal obligations and requirements. 

INFORMATION CONTENT OF THE REGISTER

The register contains the following information:

  • First (and possibly last name) of the user

  • Email address

  • Telephone number (with some registered)

  • Date of accession

  • Operating information

  • Other information you provide yourself, e.g. the information you provide via social media services, messages sent via web forms, your email address and telephone number, contracts, customer meetings and any other possible situations in which you provide us with information yourself. 

Information about you may be processed, within the limits permitted by the Personal Data Act and the EU General Data Protection Regulation, in Joylla's own registers.

SOURCES OF INFORMATION

Information provided by you (the registrant) and events related to your customer relationship with Joylla, the ordering and/or use of the service, communication, social media and any other transactions. A third-party service, such as Google Analytics, might also serve as a source for the user information.

DISCLOSURE OF INFORMATION

Your information will not be regularly disclosed to third parties unless the disclosure is necessary to provide the service, e.g., via an email system or an external course platform. In this case, we ensure that the confidentiality of your information is maintained and that the information is processed lawfully in these situations. In a conventional situation, the data is only disclosed and used within the limits required by their need. This allows for the best use of the service provided by a third-party operator.

In some situations, the subcontractors or services used to process data may be located outside of the EU / EEA. However, we will not regularly disclose personal information to services outside of the EU / EEA.

We have ensured that our external service providers have joined the EU-US Privacy Shield program (https://www.privacyshield.gov/list), which aims to ensure the secure processing of European data in the United States.

We ensure that the processing, transfer and storage of your data is carried out on the basis of the law and with adequate protection mechanisms.

Childrens Online Privacy Protection Act Compliance

We are in compliance with the requirements of COPPA (Childrens Online Privacy Protection Act). We do not knowingly collect any information from anyone under 13 years of age. Our website, products and services are all directed to people who are at least 13 years old or older.

You (the registrant) have the right to revoke the right to process the information you have provided at any time by notifying us by email at info@joylla.com. In this case, please note that after this time we may not be able to complete the services you may have obtained from us.

You (the data subject) have the right to request that incorrect or inaccurate personal data concerning you be corrected. You also have the right to supplement incomplete personal data by submitting it to the controller.

You (the registrant) have the right to refuse the processing of your personal data for direct marketing purposes by sending an e-mail to info@joylla.com or by clicking on the link in the e-mail we send for marketing purposes, which allows you to unsubscribe from our e-mail list.

You (the data subject) have the right to receive the personal data you have provided to us electronically, provided that we have processed your data on the basis of your consent or in order to fulfill the agreement.

UPDATING THE PRIVACY STATEMENT

This privacy statement may be updated as our privacy policy changes. Updates may also become topical as legislation changes. The changes will take effect as soon as we publish an updated privacy statement.
